Doug's passion for learning and transformation led him to found L(earn)² in 1989. As lead program designer, he helps people transform their lives through learning. Graduates of his trainings revolutionize their organizations by applying their new skills in their companies and converting the power of learning into the power of earning. Doug's clients come from around the world and include American Express, the Canadian Government, and General Electric. He has received the Stephen E. Lyons Memorial Award, the Ontario Youth Achievement Award, a Kraft design award, and four Canadian Training Excellence Awards. Doug earned a degree in Business Administration and is working to complete an M.A. in Education. Expand
Michele has always believed that one individual can be the catalyst for monumental change and set out to prove this, when working herself through university, she became the first female ever to be hired for the factory floor by IKO industries. Secure in the knowledge that anything is possible, after attending the University of Toronto, Michele launched her own successful catering business. Most recently, Michele has spent the last 7 years as part of an executive team building BTI Canada, the second largest travel management company in Canada, into an organization recognized as one of the 50 Best Companies to work for. Michele’s passion is creating environments where people can excel. Whether she works with sales teams, account management teams, or leadership teams Michele’s personal philosophy is that the development of one individual can begin organizational transformation. With over 20 years of leadership and communication experience Michele’s direct, often humorous style has earned her rave reviews from clients all over North America.
Janet specialises in working with individuals and teams to foster better leadership, effective communication and high performing teams. With extensive experience in designing and facilitating experiential learning, Janet also applies a highly interactive and practical approach to individual coaching and leadership development. Today, Janet facilitates programmes in several languages all over the world, combining her knowledge of communications, both organisational and interpersonal, and leadership development. Her coaching work focuses primarily in the same areas, laid principally along two axis: Getting Results and Building Relationships. Clients include middle and senior executives from a variety of global organisations. With 20 years experience working abroad, Janet thrives in multi-lingual and multi-cultural global environments. Prior to her MBA, she earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology, from McGill University in Canada, and a certificate in Public Relations. Janet has been a faculty professor at two European universities as well as for Management Centre Europe. Janet is also accredited as an MBTI coach and facilitator.
This Solutions Manager is a recent marketing graduate with a hunger for knowledge and a desire to learn. David brings fresh ideas, unique perspectives and logical solutions to L(earn)²’s already amazing team. David’s marketing background; perseverance and extensive sales experience make him a perfect fit in our Solutions department. David likes to spend his free time collecting records and snowboarding.
Moe's business savvy is built on his experience in the marketing communications, technology, human performance and non-profit sectors. The clients he has delivered results for include CIBC, City of Toronto, CDI Computers, USDA, Sybase, Lifeline, Purolator, Rogers and TD Canada Trust. His subject matter expertise covers a broad range of development areas from sales and service to project and cost centre management.
Jason has enjoyed being a teacher and coach for the past 6 years. As a graduate of over 20 years of schooling, Jason understands that learning can sometimes be frustrating. This is how he developed his passion for creating innovative learning environments. Jason creates environments that allow people to be creative and have fun, while reaching their full potential. Jason is also an improviser, actor, writer and director.
